At Ronald McDonald House Charities, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to SCYP reflects our core values and responsibility to create environments where every child feels protected, respected, and supported.

We actively embed safeguarding principles into our Programs and culture, ensuring that staff, volunteers, and partners understand their role in keeping children safe.

We believe every child has the right to be safe, cared for, and heard. Our approach aligns with the principles outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which sets out the fundamental rights that all children are entitled to, including protection from harm and the right to participate in decisions that affect them.
